How did we get here?

The following things may not seem connected, but try to stick with me-

A few years ago, I stumbled upon research about the famous Blue Zones. I was extremely intrigued, from a culinary and nutrition point of view. No matter how much weight or importance you put on food, it’s a big part of our everyday life- every single day. So, I felt there had to be some correlation between living a long happy life and the types of food consumed along the way.

This led to the Japanese portion of the research, and the idea of “Ikigai,” or “one’s purpose.”

Which, of course, led to yet another early/mid-life crisis

I’ve always been known as Chef Paige; my friends and acquaintances I’ve met in all my travels over the years have always just referred to me as Chef Paige soon after we meet and they discover what I do and what I’m capable of.

Well, after reaching the absolute top of the culinary career ladder and having a wildly creative and successful run in the professional industry, opening and running restaurants and even having a few of my own very successful ventures- chef life looks a little different these days with a family.

But why let all that knowledge, talent, and passion go to waste? So while I’m not in the professional kitchen grind anymore, here we are, being involved in the industry in the capacity that life now allows.

I now get to take all those years, experiences, tips and tricks, and delicious delicacies from around the world and share them with you.
